Summary Description
Drivers should be courteous and friendly and be able to deliver excellent customer service. Drivers must provide a current H6 DMV printout when applying (Valid 30 days from application), must pass a pre-employment drug screen test, pass DOJ/FBI background check, pass physical exam, as well as pass DL51 (DOT Medical). Applicants available work hours must be flexible, part time to start with the opportunity for full time status.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Drivers are responsible for pre-inspection check on all vehicles driving; assisting clients with a “through the door” service; making sure all wheelchairs or any other devices are tied down properly; drive clients to and from destinations in a safe manner; must be able to communicate with clients, dispatchers, and supervisors regarding concerns and/or issues.

Education & Training
High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license, Class C or commercial driver’s license Class A or B with passenger endorsement. Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required.

Knowledge and Experience
Experienced driving corporate clients and paratransit vehicles are a plus. Must have a driver’s license for at least five (5) years. No more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years. Applicants must be familiar with using cellular phones, and navigating around areas using a GPS.

This is an entry level electrical engineering role.
