Candidate must be honest, responsible, hardworking, mechanically inclined, have good communication skills and be a self-starter. Duties include spraying foam, blowing in cellulose insulation, installing fiberglass batts, masking windows and other jobsite prep, trimming foam using powered cutters and jobsite cleanup.  Candidate must be comfortable working off ladders and scaffolding equipment.  Previous insulation experience is a plus. Previous experience spraying foam insulation is a big plus and would result in higher starting pay. Ride Mechanic

Key Duties

The Ride Mechanic will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish amusement rides and their subsystems. This individual will ensure rides and equipment comply with all Canobie Lake Park Corp. and equipment manufacturers’ operating standards and requirements. The Ride Mechanic will perform visual and auditory inspections of rides and attractions. The Ride Mechanic will maintain proper records for all inspections, maintenance and repairs performed.

Requirements

This position requires a background in machine repair, including the ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems. Two plus years experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical maintenance on heavy equipment or industrial machinery. Previous theme park experience is a plus but not required. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and safety sensitivity. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional training or background experience in welding, machining and the understanding of electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and control systems is beneficial. Candidates must possess the ability to read, write and communicate in English to sufficiently perform the key duties of the Ride Mechanic.

The Ride Mechanic must have the ability and be willing to:
